About the Role

As a Cloud Specialist, you’ll help translate complex business requirements into effective cloud solutions. With your deep technical expertise, structured thinking, and analytical mindset, you will design and implement innovative cloud solutions. Strong interpersonal skills will be essential as you collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the globe. Fluent communication in English, both written and spoken, is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: support the design, development, documentation, and operation of Azure-based solutions, with hands-on involvement.
• Architectural Excellence: build secure, scalable, and reliable Azure cloud solutions.
• Roadmap Management: Support and execution of cloud roadmaps, ensuring it aligns with GPV’s strategic goals.
• Technology Integration: Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate emerging technologies into cloud solutions.
• Documentation: Develop documentation for data models, configurations, and setups, ensuring clarity and continuity.

Qualifications

• Educational background in IT with strong expertise in infrastructure and cloud technologies (Azure).
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in hybrid IT environments.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including:
o Compute: VMs, AKS, and App Services.
o Storage: Blob, Disk, and File Storage.
o Database: Azure SQL, and posssibly: Cosmos DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB.
o Networking: VNet, Load Balancer, VPN Gateway.
o AI & Machine Learning: Synapse Analytics, Stream Analytics, HDInsight.
o DevOps: Azure DevOps, Azure Pipeline, Azure Repos.
o Security: Azure Active Directory (AAD), Key Vault, Security Center.
o Management: Azure Monitor, Policy, Automation.
• Strong documentation skills for cloud architecture deliverables.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• A fast learner with the ability to apply new knowledge in dynamic environments.
