For our client Getinge, we are looking for an experienced Software Development Manager with experience in development of high-quality software products to manage their platform teams. In DHS, platform teams are teams delivering products and components for the DHS family of product lines as well as tools to enhance productivity.
The Job
As Software Development Manager you will be the responsible for 3 cross-disciplinary development teams comprising a total of 12 in-house developers and 8 developers from their near-shoring partner in Ukraine. Your role will be to drive the teams to make sure they perform optimally.
You will work closely with software developers, architects, POs, UXers, product directors as well as other development teams in Digital Health Solutions.

You will be:
- Managing 3 software development teams using SCRUM
- Making sure teams perform optimally and are motivated
- Coaching/mentoring and developing your teams on an individual level and as a group
- Hiring new talent for your teams
- Contributing and overseeing technical software architecture
- Promoting initiatives to enhance CI/CD pipelines and automating processes
- Continuously contributing to improving team velocity
- Sharing knowledge and experience with fellow team members

Who you are?
You are likely already working as a team leader, Engineering Manager or Software Development Manager with an ambition to grow your leadership skills. You have a background doing hands-on software development and you know your way around good coding practices & software architecture. You are used to working in an agile setup.
You value teamwork, are willing to share your thoughts and ideas and help mentor other developers through code reviews etc.
You strive for high quality and excellence in the software delivery lifecycle and have an urge to continuously improve process and ways of working.
On top of this you have a sincere interest in IT technology – you follow technology trends, try them out, and have a genuine interest in and a deep understanding of systems and how to connect all the dots.
Your Experience
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
- Min. 5 years of hands-on software development experience
- Min. 2 years of team leadership experience
- Experience with one or more of the technologies Getinge use: MS .Net core, C#, JavaScript, Blazor, MS SQL, C++, Windows, Linux, Azure DevOps, Docker containers
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated tests is a big plus
- Cloud technologies, ex. MS Azure
- Source control tools, ex. Git
- Experience working with SCRUM and practicing the SCRUM values is a big plus
